The hotel was renovating and needed its front desk equipment and point-of-sale terminals relocated within the building, and later returned to their original location.
A WNS technician visited the site to scope the move, then relocated the front desk equipment in phases, including phones, computers, monitors, key encoders, printers, and credit card machines. WNS set up and tested front desk operations after the move and moved a point-of-sale (Micros) terminal from the bar to the kitchen. When the hotel was ready, WNS moved the front desk POS equipment back to its original location.
Front desk operations, including key making, check-in, and online access, were tested after the move, and the hotel confirmed the move back to the original location was complete.

Yes. Your brand and your PMS, POS, and other application vendors keep supporting their own systems, and WNS does not replace required brand support. WNS supports the computers, network connections, and infrastructure around those systems, and coordinates with brand and vendor support when their involvement is needed. Yes. We begin by learning your environment, including administrative access, existing documentation, equipment, and vendor contacts, and we agree with you on how support will be handed over. The right approach depends on your property and your current provider, and we can't promise a transition with no disruption, so we plan it with you in advance. A 20-minute call is a good place to start.
Yes. Ongoing support through Hotel Managed IT includes a help desk, network engineers, vendor coordination, and a familiar technician onsite on a set schedule, one to four full days a week. We also take on individual projects such as network upgrades, cabling, equipment moves, and renovation support.
Contact the help desk (Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM) or, for urgent issues at any other time, call the 24-hour emergency line at (215) 701-8152. We assess the problem, start with remote troubleshooting where it can help, and arrange onsite work when it is needed, through your scheduled technician or a dispatched technician or engineer. Arrival times depend on the issue, the property, and your support arrangement, so we don't promise a standard time here.
Yes. Hotel Managed IT supports multiple properties. For example, WNS supports five Scholar Hotels properties in State College with a rotating technician, a shared help desk and network engineers, Microsoft 365 management, and biweekly technology meetings with the hotel general managers. We work with property and management-company contacts. Read the State College case study.
